A 420-hour graduate course of instruction in: introduction to applied behavior analysis, ethics & professional practice, autism and other related developmental & mental health disorders, assessment, measurement, experimental design, behavior change considerations, fundamental elements, specific procedures, behavior change systems, identification of the problems, intervention, implementation & management, fundamental knowledge, international classification of functioning, disability & health (icf), culture, health & illness: Africa concept, organizational behavior management, graphing and data analysis, positive behavior support, precision teaching & standard celebration, health insurance and billing codes.

Learning objectives
Students who complete this undergraduate level course will be able to:
- Explain the defining characteristics of ABA and identify applications of behavior analysis.
- Describe and identify examples and non-examples of the principal concepts of behaviour analysis (e.g. reinforcement, extinction, stimulus control).
- Describe, identify examples and non-examples, and use the main scientific methods of applied behaviour analysis (e.g., measurement of behaviors, single-case evaluation designs, and functional assessment).
- Describe and use the principal procedures demonstrated in applied behavioural research (e.g., differential reinforcement, prompting, shaping, transfer of stimulus control).
- Independently Plan and implement effective applications of behaviour analysis
consistent with national and international ethical principles.

MODE OF LECTURE DELIVERY:
This 420 hours of online study will be delivered virtually and live on ITC-ABA and SLAUB
learning platform respectively as appropriate.
HOW IT WORKS:
[b] Gototmeeting is a video streaming system that allows , the participant, to attend a weekend,
dyadic training program, view live, hear the presenter in real time, view the related power-point
presentation, AND ask questions if you need further clarification on any concept. Because you
can participate from the comfort of your own office and living room, you do not need to travel to
the reception center except during scheduled test/examination and or group practical
presentation of assignments as situation dictates.
WHAT YOU NEED
- A COMPUTER OR CELLPHONE with a sound card ( most newer computers already
have this installed, if you can listen to music or You Tube video, then you have sound
card or can hook on to GoToMeeting through the special code to be generated by ITC-
ABA/SLAUB - A webcam and microphone (this allow you see the presenter, other students and to ask
questions and interact with them, most newer computers have this built-in), a high-speed
internet connection. - We recommend that students have at least a 5MBPS upload and download speed.

Admission Requirements:
- A minimum of High School Certificate/Diploma
- Age: 18 years
- Provision of Police report/Criminal Background Report or Sworn Court Affidavit
